The Macdonald Campus McGill Outdoors Club was established in 2019 with the goal of making the great outdoors more accessible to students of McGill's Macdonald campus. The club organizes various trips and activities throughout the year that any student in the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Science may sign up for.

How to sign up
Great news! MacMOC is open to all students in the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Science at McGill and does not require a membership.

To sign up for a trip:

Check the calendar, our Slack, or our Instagram to find out when trips are happening and when sign-ups open

Go to the MCSS counter (located in the Centennial Centre lobby), fill in the sign up sheet, and pay the full amount (must be in cash).

Join the Slack channel for the trip - it will normally be indicated on the sign-up sheet as well as the announcement for the trip.

Check the Slack channel regularly for information leading up to the event.​

We want to hear your thoughts and opinions! Have a trip you want to do, but you're not on exec? Went on a trip last year that you want to do again? Have ideas for outdoorsy events you want to see happen on campus? Have gear suggestions for us to buy? MacMOC is always open to feedback from the community! We love to hear your fresh ideas and want to run the trips that you want to do! Help us by filling out the suggestion form below with your outdoor hopes and dreams as wild as they may be.
